I was born in the Republic of Armenia, Yerevan. I have graduated the school No 8 after Al. Pushkin with honors. In 2007 I entered the faculty of Physics at Yerevan State University (abbr. YSU) and graduated in 2011 with my bachelor’s degree. In 2009 I was awarded a YSU bronze medal as a Best Student 2009 (the highest award granted to the students). During my studies I was elected to hold my internship at the Institute of chemical physics by the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Armenia. Later on I was hired as a senior laboratory assistant at the laboratory of “Radical chain reactions”.
I have participated in a number of international conferences and presented oral reports in Russia, Ukraine, Austria, the USA etc. In 2009 my work was recognized as the best one in the framework of International Conference “Lomonsov-2009”, section of Physics.
In 2011 I received an award for excellent research awarded by New Port and SPIE in the framework of SPIE Optics+Photonics, San Diego, USA.
During the studies at the university I performed a distinguished public activity. I was the member of the YSU Scientific Council, the head of the chairman’s staff of the Student Scientific Society, the secretary of the student’s council at the faculty of Physics.
I am also a member of international organizations, namely SPIE, IAPS, OSA; I am the vice-president of the latter’s student section.
In 2011 I was admitted to Ecole Polytechnique University for my master’s degree. I am majoring in the branches of Optics and Nanosciences. This particular field of physics will assist me to contribute to the development and advance of sciences in Armenia. I am certain that Armenia will become the trustworthy backbone that will support the Armenian World and each Armenian particularly.
