I was born in 1988 in Yerevan, Armenia. I attended Mushegh Ishkhan School No.5, and graduated from it with excellence in 2005. The same year I entered Russian - Armenian (Slavonic) State University. In 2009 I received Bachelor’s degree with honors in Applied Mathematics and Informatics.

For being one of the top students of the Department of Applied Mathematics and Informatics, in 2009 I was awarded free tuition to continue as a master student in the same University.

After a year I realized that I wanted to deepen my knowledge in a specific field, so I applied and was admitted to the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Zurich (ETH). I had also received an offer from Cambridge University, but gave preference to ETH Zurich, as it is one of the best technological universities in the world. From 2011 I am doing a Masters program at the Department of Applied Mathematics at ETH. My specialization is Financial Engineering and Insurance Mathematics.

I would love to note that in May 2011 I graduated from Russian – Armenian (Slavonic) University and was awarded my first Master’s degree in Applied Mathematics and Informatics. My thesis was “Limiting Absorption Principle for Semi-Elliptic Equations” in the field of Mathematical Modeling.

After finishing my studies in Zurich, I intend to return to Armenia and make my contribution to the Armenian society.
