I was born in 1989 in Yerevan, Armeia.

I have studied at A. Shahinyan Special School of Physics and Mathematics. I was a winner of regional and national Olympiads in physics, mathematics and astronomy. Also, I have participated in five International Olympiads. In three of them; i.e. in Moscow, Yerevan and Byurakan I have won the bronze medal. Afterwards, I got the Presidential Award as the best student in IT sphere for my excellent academic performance at school. Through Olympiads I realized the whole importance and seriousness of physics and upon my graduation from school with excellence, I entered the Department of Physics at YSU, where I obtained in-depth knowledge.

From the first year I was involved in volunteering activities, such as organizing conferences and Olympiads together with other exceptional coursemates. In 2008 I chose my minor specialization – biophysics, as I started to realize that the solutions of many incurable diseases can be given by it. In 2010 I defended my Bachelor’s thesis on “Ion’s Energetic Profile in Ion Channel of Membrane” and was conferred upon a Diploma with honors. In 2009 I won a Scholarship Grant Award of the Fund for Armenian Relief, as a student of the year for my outstanding social activity and excellent academic performance. From 2008 to 2010 I worked in “Armenian Virtual College” project, where my job entailed some tasks of signal processing and voice recognition problems. And now I am working at Yerevan State University as a lab assistant.

In 2011 I have been admitted to one of the best universities in the world, ETH Zurich in Switzerland. This I consider as a big success, and I do believe that after doing my study there I can be helpful for Armenia. Knowledge and experience gained there can serve for the purpose of developing science in Armenia.
