I was born in 1986 in Yerevan and finished the sixth grade there.

In 1998, our family moved to Alaska, USA where I spent the rest of my school years and was accepted to MIT where I intended to study neuroscience and continue to do neuroscience research.

I have maintained my interest in neuroscience to this day and am a graduate student in the neuroscience PhD program at MIT.

Besides doing neuroscience research I like to paint, dance, and travel with my husband.
