I was born in 1992 in Armenia.

During my life I have visited many countries. I like to see how people from different countries and with different lifestyles manage to live together. My visits to various countries allowed me to observe inequalities in the world. I consider one of the biggest problems of our world are the economically disadvantaged communities therefore I have been involved in several projects such as The Global Issues Network and Habitat for Humanity. These projects helped me to improve my teamwork skills, made me more sensitive and empathetic towards the problems of the world and helped me to improve my organizational skills. I have also taken partin organizing fundraising projects, such as charity walks, building schools and love in a box fundraising activity.

At the age of sixteen I had the opportunity to study at the Regent's International School in Thailand with teenagers from all over the world. Each of us was an ambassador for our country, which was an immense pressure and responsibility. This gave me the perfect opportunity for developing my communicative skills and sharing experiences. Before The Regent's School I studied in my country in three different schools, but the desire of having a good education took me to Thailand and I was awarded a scholarship. I was a Global Connect student and a boarder, which was a cultural challenge. Being a boarder has made me become more independent and develop tolerance and understanding of other cultures.

My academic progress is very important to me; however, I am also involved in the social life. One of my favorite things I do in my free time is to play football. I have played football since my early childhood and I can't imagine my life without it. I particularly enjoy playing football with teammates from different countries, which is another way for me to communicate with them and improves my skills of working in a team. Another thing I enjoy doing in my free time is reading newspapers and magazines to follow current international affairs, such as "The New York Times", "BBC News", "Washington Post". These newspapers give me a good understanding of current political situation of the world, and help me to understand the actions of famous politicians.

In conclusion I have a great ambition to serve my country Armenia in politics and international relations, as creating good relations with other countries an important way of developing a strong country. I feel that a university degree in International Relations will give me the opportunity to reach my goal and further strengthen the democratic nation of Armenia and it's world partners.
