How to Study at University College London

Elen Gyulnazaryan is doing her B.A. in Politics and East European Studies at University College London (UCL).

During the Easter break-April 6, 2011-she conducted a seminar on “How to Study at University College London”. The seminar targeted Armenian students and young people and was held at the Luys offices.

Elen presented the history of UCL first, then provided insights in the minimum admission requirements for applying to the University. Afterwards she talked about student life at UCL, giving details on the conditions, entertainment facilities, to name but a few.

“My aim is to motivate our students. I was very pleased to see quite informed young people at the seminar,” Ellen said.

Many students from different universities with diverse professional backgrounds participated in the seminar. There were even some parents among the attendees.

At the end of the seminar Ani Ghudaverdyan, the Head of Public Relations at Armenian State Agrarian University, shared her impressions, “I do especially like the idea of holding a similar seminar again. We have acquired exhaustive answers to such questions that are not available online or anywhere else.”

Mher Hakobyan, who has already been admitted to University College London, commented, “I was particularly interested in issues related to funding sources and, thankfully, got the answers to my questions.”
