Born and raised in Yerevan, I have always highly appreciated the importance of education in success. I have displayed keen interest in foreign languages; consequently, I have earned my first degree from Yerevan Brusov State Institute of Foreign Languages. While being in my fourth year of college, I joined the Central Bank of Armenia as a translator where I worked for the following 12 years. The career in the Central Bank inspired me to pursue a degree in economics related field-I got Bachelor’s degree in Management from Saint-Petersburg Institute of International Economic Relations, Economics and Law. With the newly acquired knowledge I overcame tough internal competitions at the Central Bank of Armenia and got promoted to the Financial Supervision Department. The work there has enriched me with a lot of skills and has become a very important experience in my life.
Now I am doing MA in Institutions, Development and Globalization at University College London (UCL). I believe I will benefit from this program and will contribute to the further development of Armenia.
