I was born in London in 1992 and have been residing there throughout my life. I was accepted in 2010 for the BA course in French and Arabic at UCL. My love of languages stems from the bilingual life I have separated-Armenian at home and English in the outside world of London. This environment of being exposed to different languages has further been extended by me attending a Greek primary school. Thenceforth I have discovered the joy I feel rewarded with when learning a foreign language, which leads me to explore more about cultures, politics, history, and social phenomena etc., which are then more comprehensible and countless times more fascinating to learn about.

Living in London and then attending the City of London School leave an indelible impression on anybody of a cosmopolitan and multicultural feel that is hard not to get excited about. This is why I have pursued a degree in field and hope to continue in this vein.

When having a break from pondering on the politics and on goings of the world, I immerse myself in the less stringent world of music, especially the piano. I have been playing since the age of four and have recently attained a Diploma. Listening and playing classical music, above all from the Romantic period, is a profound hobby of mine.
