I was born in 1993 in Chicago, Illinois. Shortly after wards I moved to New York and went to school there. From a young age, I have been interested in math and science. As a result, during my middle school and high school years I participated in math and science Olympiads and won several medals. I also have done independent research based in linguistics and programming at the Rockefeller University.
In March 2011, I was accepted at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) as a part of the Class of 2015. I intend to major in mathematics.
When not doing math, I enjoy reading, drawing and biking. Languages also
Fascinate me, especially Latin. In addition, I enjoy tutoring. In high school, I tutored my fellow students in math and helped out at my local Armenian school during the weekends.
