I was born in Toronto, Ontario, Canada where I attended ARS Day School, and Father Michael McGivney Catholic Academy.
I received a Bachelor of Applied Science and a Master of Applied Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Waterloo, ON, Canada, in 2006 and 2009 respectively. Throughout my graduate career I had research internships at the University of Oxford and the University of Maryland. I had a variety of industry experience working at numerous companies including MDS Sciex, Cypress Semiconductor, ATI Technologies, Genesis Microchip, and Advanced Micron Devices (AMD).
Currently I am a Ph.D. Candidate at the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences, Harvard University, Cambridge, Massachusetts, USA, investigating the optical and electronic properties of diamond nanostructures.
