I Graduated from Karen Jeppe Armenian College with distinction and an Excellence Award in Armenian language, and upon obtaining my Baccalaureate Degree, I enrolled at the Faculty of Law of the University of Aleppo.

During my legal training and practice, I also wrote for a number of local and international journals and publications. Afterwards, I worked at the Civilitas Foundation in Yerevan, Armenia for several years. In 2014, I was an O'Donnell Visiting Scholar in Global Studies at Whitman College. In 2015, I was a fellow at the Institute for the Study of Human Rights of Columbia University, as well as a legal researcher for Freedom House. In 2016, I worked as an adviser at the Permanent Mission of Armenia to the United Nations in New York, after which I moved to work at the Human Rights Watch in the New York City headquarters as an Associate in the Middle East and North Africa division. My experience in these institutions focused on human rights, public policy, international law and conflict resolution.

I am fluent in Armenian, Arabic, English and Turkish, and proficient in French and Spanish.

I got admitted to Harvard Law School for the Master of Laws (LL.M.) program of the academic year 2017-2018.
