Juris Doctor

Eduard Grigoryan

I was born in Yerevan, Armenia. Soon after my birth, my family immigrated to Russia, where I grew up. After graduating from high school with highest distinctions, I accepted a job as a paralegal at a law firm and enrolled at Moscow State Law University to study international law. As a paralegal, I worked with several major U.S. and European companies on foreign direct investment projects in Russia.

In 2009, I immigrated to the United States and soon thereafter enrolled at Columbia University in New York to study Political Science and Business Management, focusing on international investment and corporate strategy. In 2015, I graduated from Columbia University with a Bachelor Degree, summa cum laude. My engagement with business and law led me to pursue a Doctor of Jurisprudence (J.D.) degree at Harvard Law School. My professional interests include corporate governance, mergers & acquisitions, foreign investment, and finance. Additionally, I am interested in the issues of economic globalization and its effect on the rule of law.
