Investing in our Intellectual Capital: Passion is contagious and will bear many fruits for all involved

Mentorship Program Through a one-on-one relationship Luys Students provide and serve as role models for younger people who need advice, guidance and support.

Youth faces challenges not only with academic work but also with social issues. Older students can help the younger students stay on track and learn to exercise a vision, apply themselves to hard work and help them to create the skills and the vision necessary for achieving their higher goals and ambitions.

The Luys Students will be required to teach a course of their choice for the Armenian youth during the summer. These classes will be part of the Luys Develop Armenia Program (DAP). This will be an opportunity to share passion for a subject matter and teach it in the most effective way. Together they will care for all from the very young to the elder.

Both Mentor and Mentee will propose a project that they have designed together to be implemented during the Develop Armenia Program in the summer.

Mentor & Mentee: A Dynamic Partnership

People learn when they are striving to accomplish something that deeply matters to them.

The Luys Mentorship Program is set within the context of the Develop Armenia Program that provides each student with the opportunity to go from academic knowledge into the real world.

The Luys programs make the student realize how to use his/her culture as a bridge to understanding oneself and the world.

    Certificate

Upon successful completion of the program all active Luys Mentees will receive a special certificate that recognizes the quality of the community work they contributed.
