Innovation, Experimentation and Digital Arts

Mobile Phones. In 2006 with Bouygues Company’s E-lab, Florent Aziosmanoff adapted "Living-Art" projects to mobile phones, exploring the haptic on an intimate scale.

Home Cinema. From 2005 to 2008 and in partnership with the French retailer FNAC, he conceived the "Digital Living Room Program", open to all customers, displaying "Living-Art" via conventional "home cinema" equipment.

In 1988, Florent Aziosmanoff co-founded ART3000, France’s first nonprofit organization dedicated to digital art and that is still the leader in the field today.

Florent Aziosmanoff has been at the forefront of digital design and research in Europe. He created the most widely read Digital Art magazine on the subject —"NOV'ART"— and was a regular columnist and editor in chief until in 1997. Since then, he has authored countless exposition catalogues and articles.

His book, published by the French National Research Center (CNRS), focuses on his design research, entitled "Living-Art. The Digital Art".

"Luys", "The Armenia Shanghai 2010" project and the Office for Cultural Affairs for the French Embassy will also present "Living Art" to the Francophone community of Armenia on March 2nd 2010 at 6pm. The presentation will be held at the French Library. Places are limited, please e-mail Anahit Evoyan: anahit@luys.am.
