I was born in Yerevan in 1990. During the school years I have participated in many Olympiads in Mathematics. I got the first, second and third prizes in Armenian National Mathematical School Olympiads in 2006, 2007 and 2004 respectively. I became the winner of the Best High School Student in IT Sphere Presidential award in 2006. I participated in the Pan-Armenian Mathematical Olympiad 2007in Karabakh and was awarded the first prize. In the same year I got an honourable mention in the 48th International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO) in Vietnam.

After school I continued my study in the Department of Applied Mathematics at State Engineering University of Armenia (SEUA). I have participated in many Olympiads at the University as well. For instance, I got the third prize in National Mathematical Olympiad 2009. I graduated from SEUA with honours in 2011.

In 2011 I was admitted for the Master program in Applied Mathematics at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH Zurich). I’ve chosen Insurance Mathematics and Financial Engineering as my field area. After graduation I’m going to be back to Armenia and apply my knowledge and experience there.
