I was born in Yerevan in 1979. I attended Ruben Sevak School No.151 after which I graduated first from Yerevan State Humanitarian College, then received Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees with honors from Yerevan Komitas State Conservatory.
Upon graduation I worked as a morning program presenter on “Kentron” TV for a year and then during the next seven years I worked in different public sector agencies, i.e. Parliament, State Labor Inspectorate, Ministry of Sport and Youth Affairs.
A year ago I decided to earn my second master’s degree at a high standard Western institution that would allow me to deepen my theoretical knowledge in the sphere I have been engaged in. In my quest for a pertinent program I came across the Public Policy (MSc) one year taught program at University College London (UCL), which I was later admitted to. In 2011 I was nominated to LUYS Foundation’s scholarship for the above mentioned program at UCL.
Giving an opportunity to study at high standard Western institutions is a kind of priceless investment in the future of our country, and LUYS Foundation is one of the unique “investors” in this field.
