I have been interested in Finance and Accounting since my childhood. My enthusiasm of doing this course came from my carrier plans of working at the bank, an interest I have in mathematics and an enjoyment I have of solving complicated numerical exercises. My keen interest of Accounting and Finance deepened when I started International Baccalaureate program. Especially doing Accounting and Finance module in Business studies and Mathematics at higher level made me becoming much more interested and enthusiastic about this course.

I helped my father with his business's accounting for 3 months and he took me with him to some accounting courses which helped me understanding the finance and accounting better outside the scope of IB, it helped me to become more responsible, it improved my time management and team work, which is very important for studying at university and further job.

In last 2 years of my previous school I was a treasurer. Doing this job I faced with lots of problems, as I had to collect all the money from students in special occasions. This work made me very organized person, as I needed a careful planning in everything I did.

I have a balance between my studies, sports and activities. I am very interested in Martial arts. The most I like Karate, I have been doing Karate for 3 years and I have got lots of certificates. I am also interested in football and Rugby. In my free times I play Rugby with my friends and I am involved in my school rugby team. Having done Karate and Rugby helped me to become a better team member and more self-confident.

I participate in many service activities organized by my school. In this one-year time I participated in Amnesty International, Rotary Club and Round Square Service. During these activities we were collecting money from our school and organizing charity projects by helping poor people near our district.

I am very enthusiastic, hard working person and I always try to achieve my potential in whatever I do. The evidence of this shows my hard work in IB, as at the end of the year twelve I got diligences in Mathematics, Economics, Biology and Spanish, "Application and Endeavour Award", which is very important award and diligence in languages in term three.

Being scholarship student in my school shows the fact that I need to be a role model for others and be responsible for all my actions. Being also an International student away from home for 2 years and studying with students from all over the world helped me to gain different cultural experiences and with my rich cultural and academic experience I will have my contribution to university as well as I contributed to my school.

After bachelor's degree I will continue studying MBA and Phd and after finishing them I want to work for my country at Central Bank of Armenia, as the education of my country isn't of a high quality so my country needs specialists from abroad to work there.
