Arsen Tumanyan was born in Yerevan in 1986. He graduated from a SEUA Gymnasium in 2002, and continued his studies at the State Engineering University of Armenia. In parallel to his studies he started a career in software development and worked at Sourcio CJSC as a base software developer.

His military duties put a two-year hold on his carrier. Arsen Tumanyan served in the Police Forces and when the military service completed, he returned to web programming and worked for Be2 matchmaking service and during next 2 years have been promoted to a senior software developer.

In 2010, he left Be2 in order to broaden and deepen his work as a software developer and to evolve entrepreneurship skills. Inspired with an opportunity to study at a world-class university and extend his knowledge in computing Arsen applied and been admitted to a Master’s program at the University of Toronto.
