I was born in Yerevan in 1986. In 2003 I was accepted to Yerevan State University of Architecture and Construction (YSUAC), Department of Architecture and Design. During my studies, I participated in several regional and international architectural competitions in Armenia and abroad.
Upon graduation from YSUAC in 2009, I was accepted as a postgraduate student at the same university, Department of Architecture and Design, Major in Architecture. I worked on the scientific research “Armenian Architecture”, that provided me with valuable theoretical knowledge. At the same time, to obtain practical skills and experience, I worked as an architect for a small architectural company in Yerevan.
In 2011, after a long research for the best school that would fit my interests in Architecture, I applied and was accepted to M.S. Advanced Architectural Design Program at Columbia University’s Graduate School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation (GSAPP).
